1.
PANDA looks like a timer problem.
HPDATE, HPMONTH are preset MPE variables which should exist per session.
Try :SHOWVAR HP@ and you should see them all. If not check your system
clock with :SHOWCLOCK. I assume there is a problem in the H/W clock.
2.
HUSKY is an easy one: invoke as SM user :SYSGEN, and within this program
mi
sy logonprompt="HUSKY/MPE/iX:"
sy ciprompt="HUSKY/MPE/iX:"
hold
exit
keep
exit
With a START NORECOVERY the new prompt is active.
Hope that will help, best regards, Andreas Schmidt, CSC, Germany

Subject: [HP3000-L] 1.Set prompter MPE/iX and 2.set !hpdate variabile
I am a System Engineer to a factory which have 2 severs HP 3000 series: one
S937 with MPE/iX 5.5 named HUSKY and one S932 with MPE/iX 4.0 named PANDA.
I have two problems:
1. To S932 (PANDA): How can I set variabiles !hpdate, !hpmonth.., because
the sistem can't delete spoolfiles after 3 days (the program compares the
date, when spoolfiles was created, with variabiles !hpdate, !hpmonth)?
Now,for example, the command ":echo !hpdate" return "0" to display.
2. To S937 (HUSKY): I want set the prompter "MPE/iX:" to "HUSKY/MPE/iX:"
(before "hello" command). In whom configuration file I can set the prompter
how I want it to be (HUSKY/MPE/iX:)?
To S932 (PANDA)the prompter is good: "PANDA/MPE/iX:".
Thank you!
