You will be ahead of the game.  If the same salary was offered in the
Missouri side, I would say they are on the low end of the scale for
"top-notch" UNIX admins.  KC, Missouri, is slightly more expensive to live
in than this side of the river...

And why can't you live in lower cost Kansas and work in higher paying
Missouri?  Inspector at the border saying "Your papers please"!
