Hi Mark, the Language team (before I was a member) here in Roseville
wrote a paper some time ago on the subject called:

Avoiding Pitfalls in Multi-Language Programming

I think it was given at an HPWorld (or Interex) conference around 4-5
years ago. The paper number is 4015.

If you can't find it in the Proceedings anywhere, let me know and I'll
dig further here.
