I bought a new ST39140N drive new about 6 Mos. ago for $200. The 18GB units were about
$300 at the time. I think they are less expensive now. The single-ended drives (50 pin)
are a bit scarce these days, but still show-up frequently on EBAY. Here's a list of Seagate SE
drives ("N" Suffix") that will work in 9X7s (from IODFAULT) with no special cables/adapters:

ST31200N DISC 4 2 0128 SCSI_DISC_DM LOGICAL_DEVICE_MANAGER 0008 NONE NONE &
ST15150N DISC 4 2 0128 SCSI_DISC_DM LOGICAL_DEVICE_MANAGER 0008 NONE NONE &
ST34371N DISC 4 2 0128 SCSI_DISC_DM LOGICAL_DEVICE_MANAGER 0008 NONE NONE &
ST34572N DISC 4 2 0128 SCSI_DISC_DM LOGICAL_DEVICE_MANAGER 0008 NONE NONE &
ST34573N DISC 4 2 0128 SCSI_DISC_DM LOGICAL_DEVICE_MANAGER 0008 NONE NONE &
ST19171N DISC 4 2 0128 SCSI_DISC_DM LOGICAL_DEVICE_MANAGER 0008 NONE NONE &
ST19173N DISC 4 2 0128 SCSI_DISC_DM LOGICAL_DEVICE_MANAGER 0008 NONE NONE &
ST39173N DISC 4 2 0128 SCSI_DISC_DM LOGICAL_DEVICE_MANAGER 0008 NONE NONE &
ST39140N DISC 4 2 0128 SCSI_DISC_DM LOGICAL_DEVICE_MANAGER 0008 NONE NONE &
ST118273N DISC 4 2 0128 SCSI_DISC_DM LOGICAL_DEVICE_MANAGER 0008 NONE NONE &

The first digit is the height (1= half-height, 3= Low Profile). The next 2 (or 3 digits) refers to the
 capacity (43 =4.3GB, 45=4.5GB, 91=9.1GB, 182=18.2GB, etc. ).
