Did anyone experience anything odd at the WRQ booth?

I visited there as one of the last things I did on
Wednesday before the vendor show shut down. I asked
about the latest features on their latest version of
their terminal emulator, "Reflection 1".

I got an obtuse response by the booth person about
whether my company was going to "instigate" something
or other technology. I responded with "why would my
company 'instigate' anything."

What followed was a series of "jargon" questions about
my company's I.T. infrastructure. All I wanted to know
about was Reflection 1!

I felt like I was talking to a religious cult. Wherein
what you say goes in one ear and reinterpreted into the
cult's jargon out the other.

I finally met one tech present at the booth. (Apparently
all the others were Marketing wonks who subscribe to Hare
Krishna.) At least he knew what I was talking about, and
was able to get some semblance of an answer that could be
understood.

Did anyone else have this happen to them?
