Hi All,

I'm doing some work for a customer who is still running several MPE/V
machines. Due to bandwidth issues there will soon be a need to compress
some data files on the MPE/V side before sending them via ftp to HP-UX
where they'll be decompressed and processed.

So, I'm looking for a compression/decompression scheme that will run on
both MPE/V and HP-UX. Any suggestions? (BTW, I'm already looking into LZW,
but there may be some prohibitive licensing issues with that)

TIA,

Barry Lake [log in to unmask]
