Can we learn anything from the scuba-diving conceptual framework
proposed by DIR ?

Although, there may be some "orthodoxy" in this matter, I find
DIR proposes a wholistic framework: they do not only mention
diving gear and safety arrangements but health, food, physical
excercise and stay-out-of-any-drug philosophy. I believe it *may
be* a healthy approach to scuba diving if we can pick up the more
pragmatic points without going into a kind of "DIR-religion".

Any comments ?

Cheers,
