Hi Ian and Lars,

I have some small experience with webrings as I added a website I did
(mountain biking) to a webring (http://www.wightmax.co.uk if interested)
and found them quite handy. It seems that Yahoo has taken over
management of the webrings which means you have to register a Yahoo ID
(with whatever consequences that entails) to become part of a webring
but the mountain bike one has attracted quite a few visitors to my site
and I have found a lot of sites through it. In my opinion they are worth
the effort but then someone has to maintain the webring. I thought about
setting one up before but other issues became more important. I would be
happy to contribute time to the scheme if others thought it worthwhile.

Cheers,

John Dunlop
