Whew. Glad to hear that there is another HP3000 geek out there from high
school. I feel much better now!

Congradulations Chris!
Look forward to some very "interesting" topics, (and at least one wild
time when I make it to Colorado)
----------

FYI!

I, (Chris_the_geek) just got HIRED, full time by 3kworld.com as "Technical
Content Manager".

Because of this, 3kworld will now change the site to be more "technical"
than just the "news" focus it currently is.

I'm hoping to also work with you (my community) on cool chats, topics,
problems, advocacy, good/bad jokes. I am also interested in getting with
the RUG and SIG members to possibly do the same.

Needless to say, I'm very excited about this because I've been working in
the "background" with 3kworld for quite some time (mainly on specialized
chats and back-end 3000 stuff for the 3kworld site), but now it's an
official, a full time job!

Brian K. Trembath will continue to work with 3kworld as an account manger
to
the ICPs but he will transfer his content responsibilities to me.

Should be a wild ride...

For those of you who don't know, I am a total 3000 flag-waiving
geek-freak.
I've been working on 3000s since high school and am the proud owner of
several 3000s, all my very own. Pix available on request!

I'm also proud to have been mentored by many of you over the years and
look
forward to working with you in a more "official" capacity.

3000 forever!

Thanks, wish me luck!!

Chris Gauthier,
3kworld Technical Content Manager.
