well, after much complaining to hp about the general
state-of-affairs, i got my machine successfully updated last
week.  since i have a multitude of subsys tapes to pick from
(:-), i used the subsys tape from a previous (and
successful) 6.0 update, the pp2 tape and a reactive (post
pp2 gr patches) tape -- via patch/ix -- to make a new cslt.
we took the system, updated, yada yada and are currently
suffering from great joy (ha).              - d
