Inspired by Greg's comments, I visited http://www.hp.com and
clicked on "HP Products" (a highly visible link at the very top),
which took me to http://www.hp.com/country/us/eng/products.htm (it
may take you to other URLs depending on your country and/or on
the cookies that HP's web site plants on your browser's data
structures :-)
HP's webmasters and webmistresses are doing a great job
at this high level in HP's website hierarchy in terms of
the HP 3000 (they don't know about "HP e3000" yet).
For instance:

There is a fair mention of "HP 3000" throughout the index. (Or was
the HP web server just doing it for me, because the HP cookies planted
onto my browser indicate that I like the HP 3000? :-)
So, folks, we should be a bit patient, perhaps, because we might just
have some kind of a phase shift going on here (i.e., HP's Corporate
executives might be on the same wavelength as their web designers --
not to mention the CSY folks -- but their phases might be a bit off
and we should gently allow them to realign themselves :-)
Could it be that all our marketing-oriented talk has been filtered out
by HP's Corporate executives as just a bunch of BS? Could it be that
some scientific and engineering talk will do the trick?
