Under 55, FTP is not part of inetd, and gets its own manual.

Is your PC running an ftp server? That's not an ordinary thing for a PC to
do. So that's what comes to mind first. There are a number of ftp servers
available, although I would be reluctant to run one on my PC (security
concerns and lack of appropriate monitoring or auditing). Now, your PC
probably has an ftp client that can talk to the ftp server running in the
ftpmon job on your 3000.

If you really need to send from your 3000 to your PC, you might want to look
at using the smbclient to do this. In my testing, it is only slightly
slower, about 8%, than ftp, although your mileage WILL vary.

Please let me know if I can fill in more detail. All the best.
