HELP!!! Networking Experts!!!

I'm trying to figure out how I can configure a loop interface with an IP
address.  This is needed to setup VIPs in our network.  This would act
like a virtual device with an IP address that does not respond to the IP
address from outside of the HP.  ANY help will be appreciated!!!!
