yes,  that's  correct  ...  however,  we  loose  the "fetus diver
license" (seen as innate reacctions to the water environment) i a
couple  of  weeks  (!) as contact with the water is lost after we
are born. In some countries, it is recommended to take the babies
to  the  pool  2-3 days after they are born (so the innate skills
are not lost).

On  the  issue  of  formalizing the senior-junior system: I agree
with  you  (difficult  to formalize) but it might be a conceptual
framework  on  which  diving  institutions  (clubs,  etc.) may do
attempts.
