After installing my new HP CD Writer Drive, I get a message every time
I start up my computer or every time I reboot.
The message appears after all the drivers are loaded, etc.
It states "Please Install the Plug & Play Configuration Manager First!"
I can't get rid of the message; and, my computer works fine.
Is there anyone who can tell me what this message means or how to get
rid of it?
I am sure I installed the HP software before installing the HP drive;
and, this message is getting the best of my curiosity.
I also did a "step by step line by line" startup; and, didn't get any
clues.
Thanks.
