Ok, so the first new thing I try on our 6.5 box is the NEWCI command... and
my first choice was to try the posix shell.
Regular session:
: run sh.hpbin.sys;info="-L"
########################################################################
MPE/iX Shell and Utilities (A.50.02)
COPYRIGHT (c) Hewlett-Packard Company 1992, All Rights Reserved.
########################################################################
shell/iX>
Everything's just fine...
Now on the same userid with a NEWCI command...
: newci sh.hpbin.sys;info="-L"
/etc/profile 61: Internal error: waitany: unknown pid 655466
And it sits there... and sits there... Locked up big time.
Can't control-y; can't BREAK. It's stuck.
A showproc on the sick session shows:
: showproc job=#s12
QPRI CPUTIME STATE JOBNUM PIN (PROGRAM) STEP
C154 0:00.460 WAIT S12 84 (SH.HPBIN.SYS) -L
Am I missing something? Or did I break it with my very first command? :-(
