The trial has begun for Adamson the owner of the now defunct Hardwarehouse

A former computer broker accused of participating in
one of the biggest frauds in U.S. history against a
Fortune 500 company went on trial this week in
                         Sacramento federal court.

I thought some of you would be quite pleased to see the following quote in
the Sacramento Bee.

In turn, the prosecutor said, Balon gave the
Adamsons exclusive access to
valuable servers, including the HP 3000 series,
"crown jewel of the computer
industry." Without having to bid against other
brokers, the brothers got "the pick
of the litter" of this equipment, which was leased
when new and then returned to
                         HP by lessees, he said.
