Unfortunately you don't tell wether you have other networkprinters working
on your system and on the same setup file. Have you tried commenting out
the global setup file and putting it in the npconfig just for the printers which
need it? I have several (laser)printers which work fine without setup files.
In npconfig it's something like this:
15 (network_address = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
setup_file = PJLSETUP.util.sys) # printer 15
16 (network_address = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) # printer 16
17 (network_address = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) # printer 17
I don't know about your type of printer but maybe someone else on the list can help you out with a correct setup file. (Or try a search through the archives on printer type)
