  I have an HPIB 7980 tape drive.  I removed the reel, but when I do =
showdev tape, it still shows as if it was still mounted.

I've checked with the HP3000 -L prior messages.  It appears to only when =
there is an interrupt that the Volid changes.  Any news since then?

How do I reset VOLID?
