>You mentioned in the message below that you would be elaborating on the
experience you had with the boat behind Brownie's. Maybe I missed it, but
I
can't seem to find it. Could you direct me to it or fill me in on your
dives with them?<

The boat is behind Brownie's dive shop (not the factory) on Cordova, which
is off 17th St. Causeway.

Jay, Anna and myself dove from it on Sunday. The boat is the Fish Food and
is owned by Diversion Excursions (or something like that). They also own
the cattle boat Fathoms of Fun (Pompano) and a couple of others.

We had the boat to ourselves on Sunday and dove the Mercedes and Hog Heaven
wrecks. OK dives, lots of lobsters and some big green eels, but nothing I
plan on doing again soon. I like the wrecks of the Jim Atria and the
Tenneco Towers much better. I have decided NOT to have an opinion on the
operation just yet, have to see how they handle things when the boat is
full first.

The Greatful Diver used to charge US $ 10 more per trip, but they where
well worth the price. The rate on the F Food is standard Lauderdale US $
35. Will they be willing to run the longer trips for that money? I don't
know yet.
