We have upgraded our system from 5.5 to 6.5 and now our system became very slow.

We have 959 series with ~3.5Gb memory and planned to upgrade memory to 8Gb. But when we tried to install the memory we were told that on 959 we can't increase memory to 8 GB. Is there any HP documentation available ?
Anyone experienced these situation? Any  suggestion to improve the system response?
