another way: use the REPLY-TO mechanism to specify an existing mailbox on the
HP3000 or any other eMail system connected to your N/W.

An example of a commandfile using this feature can be seen in the article on
Sendmail stored under http://www.hillschmidt.de/gbr/articles.htm

Subject: SendMail/iX configuration question

Is there a way to configure SendMail/iX NOT to 'remove' from the list of
recipients of a particular message anyone that has a specific 'domain' name
in their address?

There is an HP3000 on our network and mail from its batch jobs gets
'thrashed' around the network, because one of the recipients replied to the
original message and SendMail/iX is trying to send the message to the MPE
user (i.e. [log in to unmask]) of the batch job that originated the
message. Since SendMail is not running on the originating host the message
'is stuck' in the network for days.

Regards
Paul Christidis
