After a moment of puzzlement, I took it as meaning that using Java on the
e3000 was building one's house, their Java apps, on rock, the e3000, and not
on the sands of systems that will require you to constantly tend to and
shore up its shifting foundations. And on your e3000, when "the rain
descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and
it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock".
