We're begining to feel similar effects.  It has been a major pain
to work around.  MPE can deliver data to other systems, but it
can't get data from other systems.  We need access from MPE to
SQL-Server on NT and to Oracle on Unix. [Yes, I know there are
3rd party solutions, but all I've seen have high prices.]

How does this help you?  Do you batch exchange data from the SQL
Server to Image?
