Really? I prefer to use a very sharp Occam's Razor (the original, not one of the
newer twin blades or triple-blades).
Seriously, the minds ability to see patterns where there clearly aren't any
is well documented. The "Oz as metaphor" notes sound *very* similar to the
"Paul-is-dead", "Abraham Lincoln and JFK coincidences", "Clinton body count"
(well, I'm pre-disposed to believe that one), and similar other things that
are widely circulated. Just because the "Oz as metaphor" stuff was published
in prestigious academic journals doesn't make it any more believable to me.
But, it is interesting and fun.
Should we change the subject to "Epistomology" now?
