Hi,

Apart from the advice I have read on this, I had a situation where the
'Jumper' had been set
To use the AUI port and not the Thin Lan with the obvious effect.

Subject: DTC Troubles

We have successfully attached 1 DTC-48 to our wan. The connecction goes
thru Cisco switches and routers. We have now tried attaching 3 more
DTC-48's at this remote site and none of them will connect. They show a
"C1" error (communciations timeout I believe).
The DTC's are all configured with the correct Mac addresses. We have
tried several different test to see where the problem is but no luck.
I'm sure it's possible to get 3 bad boxes but I'm not sure that's the
problem.

Any ideas for further testing would be appreciated. (send them off line
unless you feel it will benefit others).
