I think there should be a one-for-one contract here:

Every day 3kworld.com pops one of these up on 3000-L, the
3000-L community should be given an equal opportunity to kick
off an ad / announcement / post on the 3kworld home page....
We could get 30-or-so members to volunteer to take turns one
day a month, right ??...  surely 3kworld could hardly refuse us
a return visit to their home, after "dropping in" on ours ??.....
