Suggestions:

1. Logon as HELLO MANAGER.SYS;PARM=-1  to eliminate any logon UDC's. The PARM=-1
bypasses all UDC's unless you have specifically disabled this feature in SYSGEN.

2. Check your welcome file.

3. Check SYSSTART.PUB.SYS  (hey! it's possible something could be set up there)

4. Check SYSGEN, MI section if my memory serves me, where things such as release and version
number are set. (Again, unlikely, but possible.)

The first suggestion is the best one. If the 3 goes away, then look at any UDC with OPTION LOGON
in it.
