What is your current connection? If 10Mb LAN use 100Mb LAN. Also, what is
the load on the system at time of transfer? Are the two machines on a LAN
segment of their own? Can they be connected only to each other. Are you
using Compression option of DSCOPY? What type of Disc subsystems do you
have? How much data are you trying to move? Check your I/O bandwidth? How
long should it take at burst rate, and normal? Don't expect more than the
hardware you have.
