LPQ1000 Setup Suggestions

My new LPQ1000 (C3204D) just arrived and I am seeking suggestions on the
best way to set the printer up.
Currently I have a 2564B with the HP-IB interface (soon to be
replaced).  System is a 928LX, currently running 5.5 PP7 but will move
to 6.0 later this month.

Questions -

1. Best interface to use, Serial or Ethernet (Network printing)?

2. Pros and Cons of each.

3. Any other input from those of you that have one of these printers
would be greatly appreciated.
