Thanks for all the suggestions for correcting the problem with an Image DB
file, I'm still working on it. It was to a test account to refresh the data
in it. I suspect the cause is because we were doing an on online backup at
the time, and the DB was being accessed. The backup starts at 2:30 and
doesn't finish until around 9:00, before going to online backup it was done
at around 7:00 - 7:30. This is a separate issue. For those who may want to
reply to this, we are using TURBO STORE MPE/Ix True online backup (I may
have the exact name wrong, but its some variation of this) With online=end.
The system is quiesed for about 20 minuets before opening the system up
again for use.

The FTP question I have is this: Has anyone heard of the following problem:
where using FTP and supplying the password as 7 characters or 9 characters
will work sometimes and not work other times? It's like 8 is the magic
number, anything more or less than this and it may or may not work. If you
have heard of this problem, and it does not relate to the HP but to some
other platform, please let me know

Thanks

Frank Girard
