Jim,
You have two problems here.
First, you are missing the 100BaseT drivers as indicated in your
NMMAINT,77 output. You can put multiple 10BaseT cards in the machine with
the drivers bundled in, but the 100BaseT drivers cost big $$$$ as they are
tier priced. IMHO a network interface card should not carry a tier license
for the software.
Second, the validate errors you are seeing
> Searching for subsystem validation routine VALIDATENETXPOR
> ---> VALIDATION OF NETXPORT SUBSYSTEM STARTED <---
> *** VALIDATE ERROR --> PATHNAME : NETXPORT.NI.BROCKLHS
> DUPLICATE NETWORK PARTS OF IP ADDRESSES DETECTED (VALERR 119)
are because MPE will not allow you to have two network interfaces on the
same subnet. That is to say (assuming default subnet masking)
LAN1 198.55.1.1
BT100 198.55.1.2 is not allowed,
but
LAN1 198.55.1.1
BT100 198.55.2.1 is OK.
