Thanks for all the replies.

Smith Gardner called in and used UNDEADLOCK to break the deadlock and
aborted the sessions and jobs.  We were trying the suggestions as fast as
they were coming in, but none had any affect.

Thanks for all the replies, I now know a few more tricks to try next time.
