It was reported on CBS News tonight that because of the precipitous fall in
NASDAQ today, due in great part to the Justice Department's pursuit of
Microsoft and their announcement yesterday that they want to break the
company up into several pieces, that Larry Ellison of Oracle is now within a
mere billion dollars of displacing Bill Gates as the world's richest man. If
things stay as they are, he could become the world's richest man by this week
or next.

I'm already practicing the unkind things I'll say about Larry and Oracle,
once he makes it to the top. Heck, in truth, I've actually been practicing
for years :-).
