Hi HP3000-L,

Patch MPELX44A for 6.0 and MPELX44B for 6.5 is now available (or very very
shortly thereafter) as a site-specific beta patch to fix a bug in the
HPGETPROCPLABEL intrinsic where it was unable to load data items containing
unresolved function pointers.

I discovered this bug when I added DSO support to Apache 1.3.9 which loads
its DSOs via a data item instead of a procedure item.

I've installed this patch on my home machine, and WebWise (based on Apache
1.3.9) is now happily loading DSOs without any tedious workarounds, and my
simple demo program that duplicates the bug no longer fails.

If you're interested in this site-specific beta patch, please call the HPRC
and ask for it.  If you're currently playing with DSOs, this patch will make
your life simpler.
