Hi Steve
        Let's take a step back and look at the topic of disaster recovery. You
basicly need two of everything.

* Servers
* Networks
* Backups
* Software
* Hardware

Disaster planning is not something that you do WHEN disaster happens. Take
some time and plan it out. You should talk to your 3rd software vendors on
how they can help you. Each vendor will have a battle plan for you, in the
event of disaster.

I don't mean you sound like I'm jumping on you. Fire fighting is not fun
without a plan of attack. Develop the plan before the world ends around
you. Those of us who surf the listserver have plenty of disaster stories
to share. I'm sure that my friends here have by back, as I have theirs and
we have yours.

Good luck!!!!!

        If we had a disaster and we needed a new machine, would we be able
to
just restore our last backup and run all programs. Would we have to
reinstall all apps to handle the different SUSAN number on the new
machine?
        Thanks.
