I have run into a situation where I don't know the best answer to the
following question:

In order to put graphics (say logo's) on form letters with data coming from
an HP3000, would it be more flexible/cost effective to:

a) Download the data from the HP3000 to a PC and mailmerge using PC Software
of choice

b) Write ODBC programs to extract the data from the HP3000 and handle the
problem on the PC side

c) Find an (to me Unknown) way of getting the logo's on the HP3000 and have
the HP3000 (effectively) handle the mail merge itself.

I know I would much rather see the HP3000 handle all the processing itself
since the data resides there also. I don't know what packages (if any are
needed) to get (c) above done.

Any advice from someone who has been there?
