Fellow listers,

I have an interesting problem. My client had a system abort (bummer) and has
AutoRestart/iX with the dump-to-disk configured. After some nudging, the
dump-to-disk worked and wrote the dump to the disc file. The speed of the
dump was quite impressive!

Now the problem. Client calls HP, RC says that the dump has to be in the DAT
group. OK, run DAT and do a GETDUMP. Oops! Seems GETDUMP only works from
tape. Now back to the manual. Nothing there!

Can someone tell me what is supposed to happen at this point? The guy at the
HPRC doesn't even know about AutoRestart and said he didn't think it was
supported.

I think it's going to be one of those days.
