I was one of the first users of PLUS/iX.  I was the IS Manager at
one of the first installations using PLUS/iX (it was PLUS3000 at the
time - 1989).  Ron later migrated it to NM on our my machine)
Over the years, I've found that it allowed me to hire programmers
with very little HP 3000 experience and in one case I hired one that
didn't know anything about an HP 3000, much less IMAGE or
VPLUS  (9 years later that individual is now writing a COBOL
column for an HP 3000 user group).  I've known Ron (he is a
personal friend) for a long time and have found that he is
knowledgeable and supportive of his product and his customers.  I
can highly recommend this product and would say this even if I
didn't know Ron personally.
