Can anyone help me with this issue. I cannot get the TERM variable set for the type of terminal Reflections uses when I log on to my HP3000. When I try to run the POSIX vi editor I get the following:

$ vi

Unknown terminal "".

I tried setting the TERM variable as such

TERM=vt100 ;export TERM but it still does not like the terminal type. I have tried vt102 and others that Reflection will emulate but can not get it right.

Does anyone know the combination?

TIA

Jim
