Simply change the host IP address in NMMGR, validate NETEXPORT, then stop
and re-start the network with the appropriate NSCONTROL and NETCONTROL
commands. No need to reboot. Should take only a couple of minutes. The only
"gotcha" would be to try to ensure that no network activity (including
network printers) is taking place when you go to bounce the network.

Subject: HP e3000 IP address

Hi,

Due to network changes I need to change the IP address of my HP3000.

I have looked in the Planning and Network Configuration Guide. I think I
know how to change the IP address of the system.

Can anyone think of a way of me to identify potential "GOTCHA's".

I was told by Corporate IT that I need to make this change this weekend.
(4 days notice).

It is fun to be part of a team.

Marilyn
