We have an HP 3000 927LX with a DTC connected to the 10base2 port for our
terminals. Can I extend the cable between the machine and the DTC to
include, say, a hub to allow the LAN access to the server?

I know about the Internet services and all that. I can handle that part.
I'm just unsure about the wiring.

Everything I've read about connecting the DTC to the server refers to it as
an ethernet connection which implies that I could simply plug our LAN on to
it. But I've also read that a LAN has to be connected to a different NIC.
Is this true?

Thanks for ant help,
