Why is TPC-C important for NetServers and 9000s, but not for 3000s? Although
I do wonder what is meant by independent test numbers.

From http://www.entmag.com/displayarticle.asp?ID=3220052948PM, an article
entitled "Multiprocessor Offering Demonstrates HP's Sixth Sense", on six-way
servers.

HP has independent test numbers showing TPC-C performance 30 percent higher
than Compaq ProLiant 6400r four-way servers and 99 percent higher than Sun
Enterprise 450 servers.
--------
See also http://netserver.hp.com/netserver/products/performance_lh6000.asp.
Searching hp.com for TPC-C, there are 94 results. Sorting by date, the first
39 are from this month, and 52 are from this year. Some at HP knows their
way around these benchmarks.
