What version / generation do you want? I believe that if you want the
current generation, you need 'MY.PREDEFINED.GDG.ENTITY(0)', whereas if you
want to create a new version, it's 'MY.PREDEFINED.GDG.ENTITY(+1)'. While
your other file attributes are set with QUOTE SITE commands, this is handled
as part of the file name. Likewise, dir 'MY.PREDEFINED.GDG.ENTITY' should
list the other versions.

which is what we are on. If you are on MVS, you should be able to find your
way in the library to those manuals. However, I am not aware of too many
differences between the ftp servers for these OSs.
