HP3000 Folks,

Just upgraded to 6.0 on our 987.
We began running SAMBA from it's new location /SYS/SAMBA/SMBD
It's version is 1.9.16p9

We started running SAMBA under inetd and checked the INETDCNF.NET.SYS
and SERVICES.NET.SYS and if need be are symbolically linked in the /etc
directory under
their unix names.

The problem is that when running SAMBA under inetd, it appears only one
user can connect
to the server. The other user gets a message about not being able to
resolve the name.

When run from a seperate job there is no problem in multiple
connections to the server.
(everything is ok)

We have lmhost files with the appropriate name and ip address on our pcs
for name resolution.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks ahead of time : )
