Ken, the 988RX is a 4 I/O slot server in the 9x8 product line with a
relative performance of 5.1 (the 918RX is 1.3 and the 928RX is 1.8). At
one time we sold it as a new server product.

For the last several years, we have continued to sell this product but
as upgrade kits to previously sold 928LX/RX, 928LX/RX, 978LX/RX or 988LX
servers. As of February 1, 2000 when these upgrades were repriced
downward, the kits sell for suggested list prices ranging from US$ 4,500
(for the kit from a 988LX) to US $39,000 (for the kit from a 9x8LX).
