Hi, Tom

IIRC in windows, change config.sys
buffers=n to bigger number to fix,
but, window 98 use MSCOFIG(?) to change
win9x with config.sys will bring down some performance

On a working batch file (at least I'm sure it was working before I
upgraded to Win98), I get an error near the beginning of a batch
file on a set statement:
    echo off
    cls
    cd c:\edipc
    set flg=N

I get the error "Out of Environment Space" and then further
references to the flg variable don't work because is doesn't exist.
However, if I go through it manually, the set statement works
just fine. Any idea why this is happening?
