Hi all,

Thanks to all that responded - a couple of people mentioned 'RAS'
which prompted me to do a little searching on Yahoo and AltaVista.
My first attempts resulted in a bunch of Linux and NT servers,
but with a little refinement I did find one that looks like it'll
do - TechSmith's Foray PPP Server:
http://www.techsmith.com/products/4apppsrv/default.asp
It does have user authentication, I already have the necessary
hardware, and at a cost of $49.95 for a 1-port server, not too
expensive - especially considering most ISPs charge $15 to $20 a
month, which I'll never have to pay!
I'll set it up today, and try it this weekend, and post again
on Monday with the results.
Thanks again!
