Is that a restriction on benchmarking applications on platforms? Because
Oracle is represented on the TPC site, for instance, at
http://www.tpc.org/new_result/ttperf.idc. Now, if only HP would allow us to
port their TPC-C benchmark code from the 9000 (ninth on that list, running
Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise 12.0 for the RDBMS) to the 3000...

Remember, Oracle won't let you make claims about performance or do
benchmarking to compare platforms. However, HP could promote using the
satisfied customer approach.
If Oracle server were priced per user independent of the MPE user license,
like I believe it is on every other Oracle platform, it would probably
help it's sales on MPE a lot, too!
