Please see Stan Sieler's paper on how to code Pascal which can be found at

As part of the teaching exercise, Stan has included a Pascal program that
converts regular numbers to Roman numerals. You are free to "steal" the
code, and use it yourself, assuming, of course, that you won't profit from
it!!
